Extensive refurbishment for long standing client, Sussex:

Hunters are fortunate to have been invited to manage the further refurbishment of a substantial listed home in Sussex for a valued longstanding client.

Works will entail the erection of a new oak framed barn to form a painting studio, along with the conversion of an existing barn to form a home office, refurbishment of guest suite and the formation of a new entrance hall. The works are due to start September 2005 and will complete in May 2006. Hunters will deal with all aspects from design, planning approval, applications, Vat exemptions, formation of contract package and project management through to completion and hand over.

Retaining wall & new garage block, Surrey:

Recently completed: the formation of retaining wall 32mt long by 4mts to protect a new four bay garage with separate workshop for a private client in Surrey. The retaining wall was designed and constructed from reclaimed railway sleepers providing an economical solution, blending sympathetically with this rural setting, complimenting the new formed timber clad garage, finished to clients specifications.

Conversion of basement to form gymnasium, sauna and games room:

Recently completed for a private client in Surrey a disused basement has been converted to form ideally located gymnasium, sauna and games room. The project offered interesting challenges in respect of ventilation and drainage to ensure stable humidity and low maintenance regime.
